Rainforest/Distillery Tours
Tours kick off on the balcony of Cape Byron Distillery where you are greeted with a gin and tonic on arrival. After hearing a bit about Cape Byron Distilleries story, your guide will take you on a walk through the regenerated subtropical rainforest where you will become well acquainted with the native ingredients used in the award winning gin. After that, we will come back up to the distillery to do a full guided tasting while sitting around a 2000L copper pot still. Tour duration is around 1hr 45mins. After the tour, groups are more than welcome to hang out on the balcony and enjoy a drink or cocktail.
Tasting Flights
Tasting flights include a Gin & Tonic plus a sample of Brookie’s Byron Dry Gin, Brookie’s Byron Slow Gin and Mac Liqueur. you can also sample of Brookie’s New Make Spirit that is slowly maturing into a beautiful whisky. Other seasonal features may also be available to add on to the flight. One of the cellar door staff will walk you through each taster provided (15 mins in duration). After the tour, groups are more than welcome to hang out on the balcony and enjoy a drink or cocktail.
